I am a retired corporate executive living in Northern California with my dear, sweet patient husband. We are great dog lovers, but lost our last amazing furry friend, a Samoyed named Boris, in February of 2021, at the age of 13 1/2 years old. My long career was spent in the hospitality and healthcare sectors. As a self-confessed 'action junkie' my interests are wide and varied, including making art quilts, doing Paint by Number paintings, playing piano, and - of course - dancing. I LOVE to dance, especially doing ballet. In 2018, I was diagnosed with an incurable cancer. I vowed that in the time I have left on this mortal earth, I would spend considerable hours moving to my ballet goal: a picture of me in red pointe shoes at the ballet barre.
